Javance Butler – keys

Javance “Boog” Butler, is a well rounded producer, with a wide variety of production from hip hop, R&B, dance, to techno, urban punk and gospel. Vance caught on to music at an early age.  He learned how to play drums at the tender age of 5, bass guitar at 9 and piano and organ at the age of 12. Vance came from a long line of musicians, which allowed him to learn music by ear.  He became very skilled by the age of 17. He attended Solano Community College under the instruction of Delbert Bump, where he learned the fundamentals of music to strengthen his musical ability even more. At 19, he began to produce music of his own. Later after that he started to work with local Rap artist such as, Pizzo, Killa Tay, and C-bo.   He later opened up his own production company, Addvance Productions.  Even though his career as a producer was on the rise, he was an accomplished musician, playing for various artists all over the Bay Area. Vance played at the biggest church in, Fairfield, Ca. Mt Calvary Baptist Church, where he was the personal musician to the pastor, Dr. Claybon Lea Jr. He traveled with Dr. Lea, to various cities in the United States. Vance has played for Sly Stone on the funk family affair tour in 2005.  Javance has done work with Crooked I, Da Jacka, the late Mac Dre, A-Wax and Messy Marv, Ricky Dillard, Bret Jones, Eugene Cole, and Devaughn Murphy.
